2. Fixed a problem with the Rendering Options dialog and System 7.6 (when using 8-bit, or lower colour depths)
3. Subtly-changed atom formatting in PDB Export
Changes introduced in version 4.0.1
1. Zapper tool now works correctly with individual polyhedra
2. "Brookhaven PDB" import/export items renamed "PDB" and information about the new management of this database plus web/e-mail links, added to the online help files.
3. Place Molecule command now attempts to use atom colour references for the placed file, rather than mapping these directly onto similar references in the main structure.
4. Major change to Copy/Export Graphics dialog: new option of copying an expanded (vector) graphic, provides a workaround for drawing programs which do not recognize high-resolution vector PICT graphics (e.g., Canvas 5.0). The idea is to copy a graphic at 72 dpi, but using an enlarged picture size; one can then resize the graphic in the destination program, thereby increasing the effective resolution of the graphic.
5. Fixed problem with bond sticks appearing too narrow when a graphic is copied or exported as a QuickDraw picture.
6. Fixed problem with axes and text annotation being misplaced when printing in black-and-white mode with the "use fast printing" option turned off.
7. Info tool no longer identifies hidden polyhedra.
8. Black-and-white graphics in red/blue stereo mode can now be copied or exported.
